Owner/Builder

David Tye

David Tye Abbie Creek Construction Builder President

Born and raised in Henry County, David has a deep respect for the land, lifestyle, and communities of southeastern Alabama.  His hands-on approach to construction and love of the great outdoors ensure he'll be on-site to build and supervise your project.

David discovered carpentry at a young age under the guidance of his grandfather Fred.  His education continued working alongside a successful North Carolina home builder.

After receiving his bachelor's degree and serving in the United States Marine Corps for four tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, he returned to the Wiregrass, and Abbie Creek Construction was born.  David's deep commitment to building excellence and the skills/discipline he developed in the military serve his clients well. An award-winning draftsman, he also enjoys tackling a design challenge.

David, his wife Katie, and their little ones currently reside in Screamer, Alabama.

Design + Project Coordinator

Ashley Evans

Returning to her Wiregrass roots to be closer to family, Ashley's living her best life in Headland, Alabama.  Raised by parents with a penchant for renovation and real estate, she's been around sawdust and power tools since she was old enough to push a wheelbarrow.

As a writer and TV producer, she re-discovered her passion for construction and interior design working behind the scenes with HGTV designer Brian Patrick Flynn for over a decade.  As Show Runner of TBS Movie & a Makeover, she enjoyed collaborating with some of the design world's best and brightest. She's putting that real-world design experience to work for our clients through her design work via Abbie Creek Design Group.

Her Atlanta home has been featured in the AJC, DIY Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens, and HGTV.com.  Most importantly, Ashley is beyond excited to continue decorating her Abbie Creek custom home this year!
